a super easy but engaging game for young kids!
Our family recently tried out “Magic Mountain”, a cooperative family game. Our kiddos thought this was hilarious (They are 4 and 2, for context).
It is really, really easy to set up, and very physical which kids enjoy. It reminds me of plinko with more of a goal! The kids don’t need to read to enjoy this – just basic colour recognition is enough (and some dexterity!)
Watching the marbles bounce down the “mountain” is fun (for kids AND adults). And it is nice that it is cooperative, as you all work towards the same goal. That also means there are a series of small wins as you are able to place students at the bottom of the mountain, so that helps keep their attention.
